Program Description:

 

Wheaton in Germany 3

Wheaton in Germany is a summer study abroad program that enables students to build their language proficiency in German, deepen their learning through visits to sites of historical interest, and develop their intercultural competence through interactions with native speakers and participation in service learning. Based in Munich and Berlin, the program also includes side travel to other German cities and to Salzburg, Austria. All students earn 4 credits in language and cultural history (GERM 343 [GP/HP Thematic Tags]) and 4 credits for an internship (German 496). Participation in the summer Wheaton in Germany program fulfills the study abroad requirement for German majors.
