Domestic Internship
Wheaton students may participate in individual domestic internships. For those planning to receive academic credit, please contact your academic department for details as requirements may vary.
Domestic Internship for Academic Credit
Wheaton students who would like to receive academic credit from the College for an domestic summer internship, clinical experience, or other field experience must be approved by the College to do so. To receive approval, students complete and submit all documents in the Internship Application for Summer 2024 to the Registrar's Office (SSB 222).
Domestic summer internship applications need to be submitted to the Registrar's Office before the first date of the internship and no later than July 1st.
Please note that the summer tuition charge, per credit hour, will be assessed for all for-credit academic experiences during the summer term. If you have questions, please email registar@wheaton.edu.
NOTE: Students receiving academic credit AND an internship scholarship or award funding from Wheaton complete only the documents for the academic credit registration process.
College Scholarship/Grant Funding only (no academic credit) for a Domestic Internship
Wheaton students that have been awarded a scholarship, grant, or any other funding directly from the College for an domestic summer internship experience that is not for academic credit need to complete a Scholarship Only registration in GoGlobal. Students complete the registration after being selected to receive scholarship or award funding. Use the link below to begin the registration:
