Program Description:
MEXICO CITY - Warm Heart Hostel
Saturday, March 7 - Saturday, March 14, 2020

Explore distinct opportunities each day to serve, build relationships, and learn in a cross-cultural context. Students will meet with local Christian organizations who are working in community development in Mexico City and learn about the rich cultural heritage in this historic city.

Students may spend part of the week assisting at the ministry site with small projects such as painting or cleaning. In addition, students will also integrate into the life of the community by attending church, community events with the Hostel, shadowing local partners, and completing tasks as assigned by the partner.

Teams will travel via airplane and stay in the hostel.

Wheaton students must possess the emotional stability to cope with stressful situations and have the flexibility to adapt to ambiguous situations and unmet expectations. You must understand the physical, mental, and emotional requirements of this trip and believe that you are a good fit before signing up.

COST OF TRIP: $800, including a $100 non-refundable deposit due at sign-up (deposit can be paid by cash or check.)
Once you sign-up, you are responsible for the full cost of the trip.

This trip is offered through BreakAway Ministry, a ministry of the Office of Christian Outreach, which is located at the North entrance to the Todd M. Beamer Student Center.
