Wichita - Hospitals of Hope, Via Cristi, GraceMed Health Clinic
The team will partner with a variety of hospitals and clinics to learn from those who are serving individuals in the Wichita area. During the week, students will assist in low-income health clinics, shadow doctors and other medical professionals, and observe surgeries. As a result, students will learn firsthand about serving God through medical work.
Saturday, March 7 – Saturday, March 14, 2020
Although Hospitals of Hope is best known for its work in other parts of the world, a great amount of its work takes place in the United States. In addition to providing supplies and volunteers throughout the States, Hospitals of Hope is also active in aiding the healthcare community of Wichita, Kansas and the surrounding area. Some of the organizations supported by Hospitals of Hope are His Helping Hands, Good Samaritan Clinic, Healthy Options for Kansas Communities, Downtown Day Care Center, and GraceMed. Individuals who serve with Hospitals of Hope encounter God through service as they help meet the needs of individuals in communities all around the world.
