Program Description:
SHAKESPEARE IN THE BLACK HILLS

In August, students, faculty, and Arena Theater alums will return to the Black Hills Science Station for two weeks of theater training, community building, theater work, and rest. Students (and interested grads) will take classes each day from Master Teachers including Felicia Bertch (Head of BFA-Acting Program, University of Texas-Arlington, Character Mask) and Jenn Cribbs (NYC- Patsy Rodenburg-Certified Voice Trainer). For students, this work will culminate in a fully-produced on-campus Mask ‘show’ upon our return to campus.

This course will supplement the Comm Major: Theater, Theater Minor, and general education curriculum. It is offered for 0 credit because of the nature of the activities, as well as our desire to offer the program more affordably to students.
